This was a critical and exciting weekend for NARAL candidates with just about two weeks until election day! NARAL members were in full force across the country, going door to door, making phone calls, and doing everything they can to elect pro-choice champions to office this November.
Our pro-choice candidates also received endorsements from key papers across the country. They recognized the importance of reproductive freedom and gender equality in this election, and why voters must elect pro-choice champions up and down the ballot.
- Arizona: The Arizona Republic endorses Kyrsten Sinema to represent Arizona in the US Senate.
- Florida: The Miami Herald endorses a slate of NARAL candidates, including Andrew Gillum for Governor, Sen. Bill Nelson for Senate, and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-26) and Donna Shalala (FL-27) for Congress.
- Florida: Naples Daily News, another Florida publication, endorsed Mary Barzee Flores (FL-25) for Congress.
- Iowa: The Gazette endorses Abby Finkenauer to represent District 1 in the US Congress and the Des Moines Register endorsed Fred Hubbell for Governor.
- Maine: The Portland Press-Herald endorses Attorney General Janet Mills for Governor.
- Minnesota: The Minneapolis Star-Tribune endorses Sen. Tina Smith for re-election to the US Senate.
- Montana: The Helena Independent Record endorses Sen. Jon Tester for re-election to the US Senate
- Nevada: The Las Vegas Sun endorses Jacky Rosen to represent Nevada in the US Senate.
- Nevada: Las Vegas Weekly endorses Susie Lee to represent District 3 in the US Congress.
- New Jersey: The New York Times endorses Mikie Sherrill to represent District 11 in the US Congress.
- Ohio: Crain’s Cleveland Business and The Vindicator endorse Sen. Sherrod Brown for re-election to the US Senate.
